Where do corporate profits go? A lot goes to investors, who do none of the production but get to pay a special low15% capital gains tax rate.
And a lot goes to top executives, who now earn hundreds of times more than the typical corporation worker.
Very little goes to taxes, as the phony "on paper" 35% rate is paid by virtually no corporation. The average real corporate tax rate is at the lowest point in decades, but what do corporations want? More tax breaks!

Citizens United has ruined this country, and that is an understatement. Nobody can compete with all of this corporate money flowing into races. The Tea Party IS corporate money, that is why they were able to get their candidates elected. Elections take money, and the run of the mill Tea Partier doesn't have it, but corporations do.
Unless congress legislates and puts restrictions on Citizens United, say goodbye to freedom as we know it. You can thank the High Court for sticking up for the rights of corporations than people.
