Democrats, Progressives, Liberals, Intelligent Independents, Minorities (including sane people), Middle Class, Elderly and the Unemployed. If you sit on your behind during the 2012 election (like you did in 2010), you stand to lose most of the progress that has been made over the last century and a great deal of this once great country.. If you really like one of the other candidates, fine. But please don't cast an "Anyone but Obama" vote.
If House and Senate Republicans truly were concerned about the federal deficit and were taking an even-handed approach, they would rescind the disproportionately huge tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy that have added significant strain on the national budget since implemented during the previous administration, strip the fossil fuel industries and other corporate entities of their tax breaks and subsidized funding, cut back further on unnecessary defense contractor programs, and eliminate tax-exempt status of all politically-active religious organizations.
