And that's all I got to say about that !

Ask the average American on the street what kind of government the United States has, and he will likely say that the United States of America is a democracy in which the majority rules. It's a logical conclusion, given the emphasis put on the popular vote in presidential elections. In truth, no one paid attention to the popular vote until 1824, with the election of John Quincy Adams, the sixth president. The president is, in fact, elected through an arcane system known as the "Electoral College."
That is why we are considered a Republic. Only one third of our federal Government is elected by majority vote.

We are now engaged in a battle with large corporations on who will control this country. With the advent of the Citizens v. United decision we have entered a war with large wealthy corporations for the country.

The one side has all the money they need. They own the radio, television and the print media. They are able to control what message gets to the public and what message does not. They are able to spread lies and half truths in order to divide and confuse the voting public. They are even able to control not only the Congress but the courts as well.

The other side in this war has only one large advantage and that is the number of people able to vote. Since we can only vote for one third of our federal Government it is important we vote for Representatives that have our interests at heart.

So far the wealthy large corporations are winning and the average person better wake up before they give their rights and country away.  And that's all I got to say about that !
